Movable flaps

Ok, here we have two flap's parts: main and upper one. First question is how far upper part is moving down – i.e. how many degrees from closed position ?

Main part as far as I know is deflecting 61 deg. down. From this picture, looks like, upper part is not going to deflect 61 deg. – rather like 30-40 deg. Anybody knows?

Move or what to move?

Modeling of AV-8B plastic model 1:32 made by Trumpeter.
The idea is to make all movable parts to move if possible and maybe add some remote control as well.

1. First challenge - how to make flaps and ailerons to move ?

As this are single-slotted flaps, there are two independently moving parts.

Will be fun to make.

2. Second - how to separate fan blades and make them all move - a motor maybe?
